The Airocide DS is a table top or bedside air purification product that uses a photocatalytic biocide reactor to eliminate viral, fungal and bacterial pathogens from the air.
Developed by NASA, Seal Shield says Airocide converts dangerous bacteria, viruses and destructive volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into harmless water vapor without producing ozone or other harmful by products.
Applications include hospitals to help combat the spread of “super bugs” where HVAC systems may be contributing to transmission of disease as indicated by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers).
Seal Shield adds the Airocide DS destroys all organic matter, including bacteria and viruses less than .3 microns and reduces surface contamination by removing airborne organisms that settle on fomites.
