According to Gebr Kufferath AG (GKD), the filtration elements offer structural leak-tightness, whereby the mesh is welded to the frame structure in an all-round sealed manner, so that both mesh and weld seam are visible on the frame exterior. Leakages are thereby easier to spot both during production and during operation by the customer.
This is different from conventional filter plates which have the mesh riveted or screwed to the sectional frame. Ordinary filter plates also have to be completely replaced when they leak, while NeverLeak filter leaves can be simply re-screened.
The NeverLeak filtration elements and mesh are based on modular design principles, so can be customised.
