Tony Fuhrman has joined NX Filtration as country manager for the Americas, while Shoahua Hu is the new country manager for China.

Fuhrman previously served as commercial director and area market director for LG Water Solutions and has held key positions at Hydranautics and Suez. He will support NX Filtration’s commercial roll-out strategy for its direct nanofiltration technology for municipal and industrial applications.

“I am extremely proud to join NX Filtration’s global team with outstanding professional expertise in all aspects of our business,” said Fuhrman. “With more than 30 years of experience in water treatment, I am very committed to further drive the roll-out of our unique and breakthrough dNF hollow fiber nanofiltration product into the municipal and industrial markets in North America”.

Hu has over 25 years of experience in membranes for water treatment in industrial and municipal markets. He was previously head of Inge in China, where he was responsible for all commercial activities and lead the regional sales team.

“Asia, and particularly China, is facing many water related challenges around growing cities and increased industrial activity,” said Hu. “In Northern China, water shortage, surface water pollution and hardness are major challenges. In Eastern and Southern China, industrial pollution and micropollutants pose huge challenges for the environment and drinking water quality. NX Filtration’s hollow fiber nanofiltration membranes can address all such challenges based on its unique sustainable and efficient solution.”
