Koops brings a wealth of international membrane technology experience to NX Filtration. At Suez, he led a global team of approximately 100 researchers and engineers responsible for product development in the field of water treatment. Prior to Suez, Koops worked at GE Water & Process Technologies, where he was responsible for R&D and led the global technology team of their ultrafiltration and membrane bioreactor division.

“I am inspired by NX Filtration’s sustainable membrane products that address the water industry’s challenges of today, related to increasing concentrations of small and harmful organic micropollutants in our drinking water and wastewater,” says Koops. “Being part of building a successful “green” and innovative company with an entrepreneurial team excites me a lot.”

Erik Roesink, CTO of NX Filtration, says: “I am thrilled that Geert-Henk is joining NX Filtration. We are expanding rapidly around the world, with many growth opportunities for our hollow fiber nanofiltration membrane technology. Geert-Henk’s extensive experience in membrane technology will not only help us in scaling up our production processes and improving efficiencies, but also in further building out our development processes.”
