Denmark’s JP Air Tech has expanded its converting capabilities by installing state-of-the-art blade pleating equipment to meet the increasing demand for pleated filter media.
“With this investment, as part of our growth strategy we are able to further strengthen our position,” said Jorgen Poulsen, managing director at JP Air Tech. “With the new pleating line, which is 2100 mm in width, we are now able to offer pleated filter media (pleat-pack) to our filtration customers.”
The pleating manufacturing technology ensures that each pleated pack provides the maximum filtration surface area, providing low pressure drop due to laminar air-flow through the pack. Pleat depth can be customized between 16-50 mm to meet specific filter requirements.
JP Air Tech recently increased its nanofibre production capacity and installed a new glue line at the company’s manufacturing facility in Sakskøbing, Denmark.
