Italian manufacturer of ozone generators, Ozopure International, has developed the OZCAR compact pilot system to allow potential customers to find out whether ozone could be right treatment technology for their application.
Ozopure has been developing ozone technology for use with wastewater, potable water, in the pharmaceutical and food industries, for disinfection and sterilisation and reverse osmosis.
Often it is not immediately apparent that ozone is the right treatment technology for a certain application because there is no empirical evidence to support its use.
To provide that evidence, Ozopure has developed a compact pilot system called OZCAR which enables experiments on a technical scale with minimal effort. All that is required is a 230 V connection and cooling water.
OZCAR draws in ambient air, concentrates it to make it pure oxygen, produces between 25 and 100 grams of ozone per hour, depending on the individual demand, and mixes it with the water or wastewater to be treated. All essential operating parameters are fully and automatically recorded so that the best possible large-scale, risk-free plant can be designed.
