Meissner’s sustainability report highlights best practices throughout the organization from sustainable product design to reduction of water and chemical use in manufacturing to installation of electrical vehicle (EV) charging stations for employees.
Developing the report has involved formalizing a sustainability strategy, calculating emissions, and identifying decarbonization opportunities throughout the Meissner organization.
Meissner says it looks forward to defining strategies and initiatives to meet its goals and reporting its progress annually. The company has hired a Sustainability Manager and established a Sustainability Advisory Committee to drive its sustainability progress and initiatives.
