Mann+Hummel is at the CONEXPO trade fair this week, showcasing its new technologies for the construction industry, including cabin air filters that protect vehicle operators, engine protection with a urea filter module and a fuel filter with three-stage water separation.

The drivers of agricultural tractors and sprayers are frequently exposed to harmful substances in the air and Mann+Hummel’s new ENTARON CA category 4 cabin air filter will be on display at CONEXPO. The company says it reliably protects vehicle occupants with an activated carbon layer. Mann+Hummel has also developed a new filter media that fulfils the US filter class MERV16. This means it reliably protects drivers in the cab of construction machines against respirable silica dust.

Urea filters are particularly stressed in construction and agricultural machinery. The use of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems is a major challenge for off‑highway vehicles. The dust in the environment quickly contaminates the urea solution used to clean the exhaust gases in systems.

Mann+Hummel’s urea filter module which gives a good starting time for the SCR system and efficient protection for the feed pump. In addition to reducing fuel contaminations, separating water from the fuel is crucial for reliable engine operation. The company offers fuel filters with three stage water separation and highly efficient filter media.

The Mann+Hummel team are in Hall 4 at Booth S85106 at CONEXPO in Las Vegas.
