The filter features a three-layer filter medium and meets the fuel purity requirements for the latest high-pressure injection systems. In addition, the company says it has seven times the filtration efficiency of the previous Mann-Filter premium filter medium and almost twice the dirt holding capacity. As a metal-free filter element, it is also completely incinerable.
The fuel is injected at pressures of up to 2,500 bar, at which even tiny dirt particles act like projectiles and can cause damage to components or even system failure. With its multigrade F-MB 333 three-layer filter medium, the newly developed PU 11 001 z fuel filter offers increased protection for modern injection systems.
