Mann+Hummel completes acquisition of Tri-Dim Filter

Mann+Hummel has finalised its acquisition of USA-based air filtration company Tri-Dim Filter Corp.

The transaction, which was announced in July 2018, has secured regulatory approval and met customary closing conditions.

Headquartered in Louisa, Virginia, Tri-Dim specialises in HVAC filtration products and services, including air & liquid filtration, heating/air conditioning supplies, cleanroom filtration, air purification equipment, gas phase filtration and air testing & remediation.

The privately-held air filtration company, which was founded in 1968, has sales revenues of more than US$100 million and employs over 800 people.

The Tri-Dim group will continue to operate through the company’s Louisa, Virginia headquarters. Darren Hernandez, who served as CEO of Tri-Dim, will move into the role of senior executive advisor. Mark King, previously Tri-Dim chief operations officer, will assume the role of president with day-to-day leadership of the company.
