The purchase order was placed by Denmark’s Provital Solutions, which offers SiC membrane-based solutions for larger swimming pools. Provital Solutions’ sales network covers Scandinavia, Singapore, Australia and now North America.
Sune Mathiesen, managing director of Provital Solutions, said: “Our company has used LiqTech SiC membranes to improve pool water quality, reduce energy consumption and total operating costs for pool installations in Scandinavia since 2009. Our new pool water solution is now available for full-scale marketing, so it was natural for us to look at the North American market. We are very pleased by the fantastic reception the new pool solution has received. We anticipate additional orders this year and are currently looking at different models to satisfy our customer’s needs.”
The LiqTech SiC membranes will be delivered over the next 12 months.
