LiqTech secures US$2mn groundwater treatment order

The company will deliver engineering and key components for the precipitation of arsenic, boron, iron and manganese and a complete ultrafiltration system based on its SiC membranes. The order is expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2016.

LiqTech CEO Sune Mathiesen said: “Over the years we have done several pilots and installations in the groundwater treatment market. With this order we are taking another important step in establishing ourselves, and our technology, in the fast growing water market.”

“In Serbia there is a great need for new water treatment plants to provide clean drinking water to consumers. We are currently exploring several other opportunities and we are working closely together with LiqTech in developing these projects,” said Synertech CEO Nenad Obradovic.
