Hall C1, stand 411/512.The Weee-Sort sorting systems are used in e-waste recycling where they sort mixed material flows into uniform fractions making a valuable and positive contribution to the sorting and profitable recycling of plastics, metals, and printed circuit boards back into the production cycle.
Weee-Sort is designed to meet the needs of e-waste sorting. Multiple lighting and air-blast units helps to ensure the best separation accuracy, for example, for printed circuit board fractions, whilst simultaneously optimising energy consumption.
Glass recycling news
KRS Recycling Systems, an S+S subsidiary and partner in glass recycling, is sharing the IFAT stand with S+S and is showing the latest version of the K9 glass sorting system. K9 is used for the colour separation of cullet down to a grain size of 5 mm.
Its main application is for quality improvement in the recycling of fine , hollow and flat glass and offers very high through-put rates. K9 FLASH will analyse information for up to nine different light wavelength ranges. The combination of different lighting allows the identification of colours, CSP (ceramics, stones, porcelain), and special glasses, which are then efficiently separated by highly accurate air-blast nozzles.
