The Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA) has announced details of the 15 companies that are finalists in five categories for its IDEA19 Achievement Awards.

The awards recognise new ideas within the nonwovens and engineered materials industry and winners will be announced at IDEA19, which takes place between 25-28 March at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida.

INDA’s Technical Advisory Board selected the finalists from over 50 nominations and the awards are jointly organised by INDA and Nonwovens Industry magazine. Online voting opens on 15 February via the magazine’s website. Votes will be accepted until 1 March.

Finalists range from next generation machinery with digital tools for intelligent production, breathable multi-layer composite fabrics, and fibres that are tailor-made for use in disinfecting wipes.

A full list of finalists can be found on INDA's website and more detailed information about each of the finalists will be available on the Nonwovens Industry website  once online voting begins on 15 February.

Winners in each category will be announced during IDEA19, 27 March between  9:30 am – 10:30 am.
