Micromag HP50 from Eclipse Magnetics is designed to eliminate common coolant and lubricant circulation problems on machine tools and wash systems. Ferrous particles produced during machining processes, such as grinding, milling and drilling, are a major cause of poor surface finish, drill burning, filter blockages and tool breakages. This can lead to higher operating costs, downtime and product rejects.
HP50 magnetic filter has a high intensity magnetic core which extracts ferrous particles, down to sub-micron size, thus protecting parts and equipment from abrasive damage. It can also reduce expenditure on consumable items such as barrier filters.
The units have a stainless steel construction which makes them easier to clean and the filter has zero running costs.
