The newest line is similar to Eagle’s existing lines, but with some additional features that could provide opportunities for expansion into new markets in liquid filter media. A 45,000 ft2 addition is also scheduled, with completion expected in June 2012. The latest expansion will bring Eagle’s facility to just over 170,000 ft2.
Eagle Nonwovens produced 22 million pounds of needlepunch nonwovens in 2011 on its two existing 6m wide Dilo Group lines. The new line coming on-stream in the third quarter of this year will bring total needlepunch capacity to over 30 million pounds annually.
