The Nd:YAG machine, which is capable of both spot and seam functions, will provide Croft with a high degree of accuracy and consistency when welding.
Croft will use the technology to join filter components that have smaller seams or low thermal distortion and require a higher welding speed and precise control during the process.
The machine will also allow Croft to focus on aesthetics and durability boosting maintenance cycles.
“Introducing the new Nd:YAG Laser machine to our production line will not only benefit our customers in terms of providing more intricate products but also gives Croft the technology it needs to maintain a high quality and future proofed service,” said director Neil Burns.
