Applications for the Axium Process range of 316L stainless steel Pure-Screen wedge-wire filters include confectionary, food, beverage, cosmetics and the pharmaceutical industry. The wedge-wire filter elements remove unwanted prticles and blend and mix and undissolved materials in suspension, resulting in a consistently smooth product throughout every batch.
The Pure-Screen filter is available with a range of interchangeable filter elements ranging from 25 to 6,000 microns. The filter is manufactured in accordance with ASME-BPE principles and has material traceability to BS EN 10204 (3.1). For companies requiring full traceability, Axium Process provides certification for weld logging, weld mark up, internal and external surface roughness, pressure test, passivation and ferroxyl testing.
