Camfil lab receives ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation

Camfil’s laboratory in Trosa, Sweden has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard by Swedish national accreditation body Swedac.

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is the main international standard for testing and calibration laboratories.

The laboratory at the Camfil AB Research and Development Technology Center in Trosa tests particle filters, gas turbine filters, high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters and molecular filters. The standard accreditation is focused on the testing of particle filters (ISO 16890) and high efficiency particle filters (EN1822 and ISO 29463). The Trosa Tech Center laboratory is also certified according to ISO 9001.

“We are delighted as this accreditation confirms that we are ensuring that certification and testing are done with high quality and reliability,” said Mikael Eriksson, laboratory manager at Camfil AB.

It confirms not only that our competence, routines and methods are in order to meet all quality requirements accordingly, but highlights our commitment to deliver reliable test results, too,” said Kenny Hedlund, director R&D Europe, Camfil AB.
