The company’s technology line-up will include its established 3D PrintPRO range, the recently enhanced 3D PrintPRO 4, and the brand new 3D PrintPRO HT, designed for higher temperature additive manufacturing processes.
BOFA will also be exhibiting the AM 400, a new stand-alone design built specifically for inert particulate filtration. With this patented technology, filters can be exchanged on-site, without risking a thermal event. Also on display will be the AD Oracle SA iQ, a high-performance fume extraction system for large scale production processes and intended for material and binder jetting, direct metal laser sintering and selective laser melting polymers.
BOFA’s product line-up is designed to meet the needs of many different additive manufacturing processes. Its 3D PrintPRO 2 filters emissions generated by small format open framed 3D printers, the 3D PrintPRO 3 is suited to enclosed or partially enclosed 3D printers and the 3D PrintPRO 4 has been enhanced to support fused filament fabrication, stereolithography, digital light processing, and material jetting.
The new 3D PrintPRO HT filters high temperature particulate and gases emitted by advanced additive manufacturing processes up to 932oF (500oC).
Katrina Clemens, general manager, BOFA Americas, said that the company was looking forward to demonstrating the enhancements that have been applied to its technologies for the additive manufacturing industry.
