All wetted components of the FRP Series self-cleaning filters from Forsta Filters are constructed from seawater-resistant plastic and other high alloy materials, improving corrosion resistance in brackish, brine and seawater filtration applications. The filters can withstand pressures from 35 psi up to 150 psi.
Forsta’s self-cleaning water filters are available with an on-line or in-line flange configuration to accommodate simple installation, and easily integrate with any pipeline. They feature a two-stage screening process incorporating a coarse screen responsible for straining out large debris from the water source, and the fine screen purifying water to the designated micron rating.
The flow rate is 15-20,000 gpm and the flush cycle duration is 6 - 12 seconds. The filters can withstand temperatures up to 210°F (99°C).
