The company will establish a new facility in Kazakhstan, while service centres in Morocco and Italy were launched earlier this year.
Each new facility offers service engineers to help extend the lifecycle of products, alongside a full suite of Weir Minerals products, including pumps, valves, screens, cyclones, rubber, and comminution equipment.
Weir Minerals Europe managing director Tony Locke said: “Our customers are under constant pressure to extend the lifecycle of the products they use in their mines and they rightly expect the Weir Minerals range to be best in class. Our service centres therefore play a vital role in providing ongoing support through the full mill circuit.
“The investment we are making demonstrates a clear commitment by Weir Minerals to excellence in service. We are also acting to ensure our customers are provided with the on-the-ground expertise they need in key markets, which is why we are strengthening our presence in North Africa, Kazakhstan and central Europe during 2014.”
