Unlike traditional water softeners, the Clarius water conditioner from Puronics purifies water without adding salt, potassium or chemicals. The filter media tank of the Clarius is made of food grade 316 L stainless steel, which provides a sanitary, non-permeable surface for processing water. The lead-free brass control valve lends durability and corrosion resistance to the system, while the automatic backwash keeps the filter media bed clean and ready for operation.

The HYgene filter media reduces chlorine tastes and odours. The HYgene PureSilver has been used by NASA in its Space Shuttle Orbiters.

Shilpa Tiku, research analyst, Frost & Sullivan, said: “However, Puronics, Incorporated has stayed ahead of the race by introducing novel technologies. Puronics is well poised to maintain its technological superiority in the U.S. residential water treatment market, setting performance standards for the entire industry.”
