Last year, Pentair X-Flow was awarded the contract to supply the membrane modules and aerators for the project.
Pentair X-Flow will now supply six staggered skids complete with headers, instruments, valves, and junction box along with installation supervision.
With six skids containing 162 membrane modules, the WWTP will be the largest membrane bioreactor plant of its kind in Malaysia.
The WWTP is scheduled to go live by the end of 2012.
The project, initiated by Malaysia’s Natural Resources and Environment Board, is being designed and constructed by Weida Environmental Technology Sdn Bhd.
