Pentair plc has closed its acquisition of Pelican Water Systems in a US$120 million cash deal.
Headquartered in DeLand, Florida, Pelican Water Systems provides residential whole home water treatment systems and employs 79 people.
“We are excited about the addition of Pelican Water Systems for the new growth opportunities it brings to Pentair and for the innovative products and services we can bring to consumers, enhancing where, how and when they can buy their water treatment solutions,” said Pentair president and CEO John Stauch.
Pentair announced earlier this year that it had entered into definitive agreements to acquire US water treatment equipment companies Aquion and Pelican Water Systems.
