Pentair plc has acquired the US filter company Pleatco for approximately US$255 million in cash.
Pleatco manufactures water filtration and clean air technologies for pool, spa and industrial air customers.
The acquisition provides Pentair with additional replacement filter products that can be sold through both companies’ distribution channels. Pleatco also brings complementary air filtration products for Pentair’s industrial customers.
