Microdyn-Nadir will be displaying its newly improved MICRODYN BIO-CEL L-2 MBR module at WEFTEC, which takes place in Chicago from 23-25 September.

The company, part of the Life Science and Environment (LS&E) division of Mann+Hummel, says the new additions make it the most advanced BIO-CEL product yet.

BIO-CEL MBR is a hybrid technology that combines the features of hollow fibre and flat-plate designs. Maintenance cleaning requirements can be 83%-95% less than other hollow fibre with high levels of resistance to clogging.

Launched in 2005, there are now over 500 installations of BIO-CEL worldwide, including more than 50 plants in the US alone. Mann+Hummel is taking significant steps to grow its LS&E division, including investing in a new location in Kunshan, China (near Shanghai) to expand its presence in the Asian market. With environmental concerns such as water resources high on the agenda, Mann+Hummel is investing in green technologies and is dedicated to driving MBR technology to the next level.

The Microdyn-Nadir team will be at Booth 5545 at WEFTEC.
