A Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems production plant, an industrial filtration plant, and a production line for manufacturing tools for the Filtration and Engine Peripherals business unit will open on the Shanghai campus.
With this third expansion, Mahle has added approximately 15 000 sq m of production space and 3200 sq m of office space in a new building.
The Shanghai research & development centre now has around 35 000 sq m of production, office, laboratory and test bench space, and is the largest Mahle Tech Center in Asia, ahead of Okegawa and Kawagoe in Japan and Pune in India.
