Fluence Corp Ltd has sold a Subre membrane aerated biofilm reactor (MABR) to Cambodia’s Sihanoukville Port for the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction through its local partner Xwater Technology Co Ltd.
The order, valued at more than US$7 million, consists of 66 Subre towers. Delivery is expected by June 2020.
The smart products solution consists of three separate Subre greenfield projects totaling 15 100 m3/day (two 4500 m3/day and one 6100 m3/day plant) for newly built decentralised wastewater treatment plants.
“This is Fluence’s largest order of our MABR systems outside of China so far,” said Fluence managing director and CEO Henry Charrabé. “We are further focusing on deploying our smart products solutions in new geographies and are proud to supply MABR modules worldwide from our manufacturing facility in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province in China where production recently resumed following the extended Spring holidays.”
