The acquisition adds industrial filtration capabilities across a variety of applications including industrial air filtration, process filtration, hydraulics and fuel separation and replacement elements, to the Filtration Group.
“The addition of Mahle Industrial Filtration products and capabilities to our portfolio of advanced filtration solutions is a great fit for us strategically,” said Steve Felice, Filtration Group CEO. “This will give customers more choice and flexibility in how they can utilize filtration to make their environments cleaner, safer and more productive.”
The acquisition brings more than 900 employees to the Filtration Group, including 410 working in Öhringen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The other 370 employees at the Öhringen location who work for Mahle’s automotive Filtration and Engine Peripherals business unit, are unaffected by the acquisition.
