The Filtration Division of energy management company Eaton will present its new PED-compliant Simplex 72X cast pipeline basket strainers for water management at Aquatech Amsterdam 2021.

Aquatech Amsterdam takes place from 2–5 November and Eaton’s team of experts will be in Hall 1, Booth 01.501 with the new Simplex 72X pipeline strainer range, designed for when temporary shutdown for cleaning or replacement is possible.

Wim Callaert, senior product manager at Eaton's Filtration Division, explained: “The Simplex 72X pipeline basket strainer range complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), is available in six standard sizes from 1–6 in and has very good sealing and surface quality characteristics.”

The Simplex 72X stainless steel or cast-iron models are designed for chemical, petrochemical and water pipeline applications. The strainer basket filter range is CE-marked to PED and complies with EN13445 and AD 2000 regulations for pressure vessels. The new strainers provide full bypass-free filtration of solids as small as 40 microns, protecting process equipment.
