The Realizer SLM-250 AM machine was bought to help improve the designs and capabilities of the filters the company develops. One year on, the results and potential AM has offered Croft’s customers has led to Croft being shortlisted for the Innovation and Design, and Small Enterprise of the Year categories.
Commenting on the announcement, Neil Burns, director at Croft, said: “During the past year, we have strived to use additive manufacturing to drive innovation and design through research, development and investment. This has given us the ability to deliver high-quality, never-before-possible solutions for our customers and, in turn, has increased the business’ profitability."
