The 2017 Membrane Technology Conference & Exposition, in Long Beach, CA (February 13-17, 2017) will showcase how membrane technology can enhance water reliability and water quality while revealing new directions in water treatment technologies and wastewater membrane bioreactor applications. It's clear that Reverse Osmosis (RO) will play a major role in alleviating water scarcity and Conwed believes that the next leaps in RO filtration efficiency could come from the feed spacer.
BWRO applications
Conwed's ultra high porosity feed spacers are especially designed for Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) systems. These new feed spacers have a higher porosity ratio and improve water pressure drop in BWRO systems, while maintaining equivalent flux and biofouling performance when compared to standard feed spacer configurations. Conwed is inviting visitors to the show to explore its technical papers and learn more about its R&D and engineering expertise developing next-generation feed spacers for reverse osmosis systems around the globe.
