Axel Johnson International’s Driveline Solutions business has strengthened its position in filters and hydraulic cylinders with the acquisition of Sweden’s MIAS Group.
Ängelholm-headquartered MIAS Group has two subsidiaries: MIAS Filter AB, a reseller of filters for industrial, mobile and stationary equipment and machines; and MIAS Cylinderfabrik AB, a manufacturer and reseller of hydraulic cylinders.
“The acquisition of MIAS Group is well in-line with our strategy to strengthen our offering in products and services complementary to our mobile and industrial driveline solutions,” said Jan Brattberg, managing director of Driveline Solutions.
“MIAS Group is a well-run and profitable company, and through this acquisition we will be able to grow our existing Swedish filter business.”
