Based in Kalmar, in southeast Sweden, Nufilter is a strong brand in the Swedish market, where it has operated for many years. In 2014, Nufilter had sales of SEK43.5 million in Sweden.
Camfil says that the Nordic region is an important market for the group and that the acquisition of Nufilter represents a natural step in its growth strategy.
“Nufilter and Camfil share the same air filtration values and the acquisition gives us even greater opportunities to satisfy the market’s needs for high-quality air filter products that create a clean indoor environment to benefit human health and reduce energy costs,” said Magnus Yngen, CEO of the Camfil Group.
Nufilter Scandinavia will be gradually incorporated into Camfil’s Swedish sales subsidiary Camfil Svenska AB over the next few months.
