Andritz has launched the Metris addIQ, a digital control system for separation applications which enables users to analyse and optimise processes.
The Metris addIQ control system is based on the latest Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Human Machine Interface (HMI) technologies and has an integrated fail-safe system. Part of the Metris technology brand, the Metris addIQ offers features such as predictive analysis which allows operators to optimise availability and take preventive action to avoid downtime.
The company says there are Metris addIQ packages for every solid/liquid separation application, whether it’s a huge municipal wastewater operation or a small brewery. All packages, the PURE, ECO, DYNAMIC, PRIME and FLEX, come with widescreen touch panels and an intuitive HMI. Mobile connectivity features and a smart analysis function combine for operational accuracy 24 hours a day from any location.
The Metris addIQ control system can also be installed in existing facilities. Precise planning and preparation allow production to keep flowing, even while changes are being made. The upgrade can be carried out in several steps to accommodate any production schedule; it is also platform-independent, and existing technology can be incorporated or replaced as required.
