Amec Foster Wheeler will provide two AQCS systems for the 2 x 165 MWe plant using the company’s spray dry absorbers (SDA) and intermediate pressure pulse jet fabric filters (PJFF) to meet pollution removal requirements.
The work is part of the Comision Federal de Electricidad retrofit and modernisation project in Altamira.
The units are scheduled for commercial operation in the second quarter of 2017.
