Filters play an important role in keeping air and water as clean as possible, especially in industry. These filters have to meet high requirements in terms of function and safety - and this also applies to the sewing threads.
Chemicals, oil, moisture or gases with temperatures up to 250°C are a great challenge for textile filters. Gas filters, dust filters, dry filters, liquid filters, pocket filters or particulate filters – each application requires different sewing thread characteristics.
Sewing threads used in industrial textile filters must therefore always be tailored to the filter and be extremely adaptable and robust - even over long periods of time.
