The call for abstract submissions for this year's AFS Oil & Gas and Chemical Processing Filtration & Separations Conference in Houston is open for another couple of weeks.
Deadline for submissions is January 24 2014, and the conference will take place two months afterwards – March 25-26 – in the Texan city, at the Houston Marriott, Westchase.
Organisers from the American Filtration & Separations Society encourage professionals to submit an abstract for technical session participation, and students to submit poster abstracts in the conference poster competition.
There will be short courses sessions at the venue on the day before the conference opens, during March 24.
A spokesman for the event said: ''The conference will include not only talks on technologies, but also on key subject areas such as produced water treatment and natural gas processing., and will focus on both mechanical and chemical means to promote process separations. The conference will be preceded by specialised training short courses and accompanied by industry leading experts as key notes speakers and presenters.''
