The 13th World Filtration Congress, hosted by the American Filtration and Separations Society (AFS), is now accepting abstract submissions for both oral technical presentations and student posters.

WFC13 will take place from 20 – 24 April 2020 in San Diego, California. Abstracts should be submitted by selecting the Abstract Submission section of the WFC 13 website. The submission deadline is April 12, 2019. Submissions are invited for the tracks and symposia detailed below.

  • Gas-Solid Track
  • Filter Media Track
  • Membrane Track
  • Environment Filtration & Separation Symposium
  • Energy Filtration & Separation Symposium
  • Health Filtration & Separation Symposium

There are also more than 60 subcategories to choose from, all of which are detailed on the website.  Individuals requiring visas are encouraged to submit early and the WFC 13 Scientific Committee will review abstracts early for individuals who need to apply for visas.  

Since 1974, the World Filtration Congress has been held once every four years and rotates among member countries of INDEFI (International Delegation on Filtration).  The purpose of the congress is to foster a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners in the world working on filtration and separation to meet and share the latest advances and technologies. There is a large exhibition of technologies and latest products on filtration and separation held concurrently with the technical sessions.
