F+S: What key products and solutions will Hengst showcase at FILTECH?

UE: Our filtration solutions are designed to make products, industrial plants and manufacturing processes more efficient and sustainable. This is entirely in line with our corporate vision of ‘purifying our planet’. We are convinced that we can achieve this with sustainable materials, well thought-out product designs and innovative production processes. These core aspects of our filtration solutions are combined in our trade fair theme: ‘Filtering Forward’. Hence, at the FILTECH trade fair, we are presenting products, concepts and solutions that contribute to this.

F+S: What sets these products and solutions apart on the market?

UE: For us, ‘purifying our planet’ means supporting the development of new, sustainable and promising technologies. We have exciting approaches such as the electrified Blue.ion cabin filter, which can save both energy and CO2. Or we develop, for example, solutions for fuel cell technology. These include the technology kit for cathode air filtration, which ensures the performance of fuel cells. Our modular system can be adapted to different performance requirements and protects against contamination to reliably produce high-quality hydrogen.

F+S: Why should visitors visit the Hengst booth?

UE: As an engineering partner, we are constantly opening new perspectives and possibilities for numerous companies with advanced concepts – and optimally preparing them for all future requirements. That's why exchanging ideas with customers and suppliers at FILTECH is so important to us. We will show the specialized audience how we use our filtration expertise to develop products that protect people, machines, the environment and are economically efficient.

F+S: What are some of the key challenges present in the filtration industry?

UE: Our business division Filtration for Industry and Environment covers many different markets and applications, each with its own challenges that can be solved with the right filters and expertise.

For our Business Unit Indoor Air Quality, the focus lies on energy-efficient filters. At FILTECH, we will be showing the MultiSack G85 pocket filter from the G-Series and our MultiForm HVAC PRO compact filter. Both filters have the best energy class A+.

In the field of Process Air Filtration, we are exhibiting our MultiTherm Thread high-temperature filter. This filter is characterized by its low depth and low initial pressure drop. This makes our compact high-temperature filter ideal for the use in painting shops – which we find in automotive production. Moreover, visitors will get an insight into the variety of media and filter designs for pleated bag filters and dust removal cartridges, which protect employees and equipment in many industrial processes.

In addition to innovative and high-quality products, our customers value our service and support. We focus on the customer’s situation and use our filtration knowledge and products to find individual, tailor-made solutions. At the same time, we are looking at expanding our digital services, such as customer portals and digital catalogues to focus even more on the customer relationship.

To sum up: We have exciting approaches for filtration solutions that are sustainable, efficient and future-oriented. We are looking forward to FILTECH and to many interesting discussions.
