Fredericia, Carlsberg’s flagship brewery, is one of the largest in Europe and has a strong focus on process optimization and sustainability.
Peter Rasmussen, production manager at Carlsberg, says: “The beer filtration membranes of NX Filtration increased our filtration uptime by more than 50%, and also significantly reduced the consumption of energy, chemicals and water. This not only reduces costs but is also contributing to our goal to have zero water waste by 2030.”

NX Filtration partnered with NS Filtration, a Danish brewing industry specialist, on the project. NS Filtration installed the modules at Carlsberg’s Fredericia brewery and will provide local operational service and support.
