This is the third consecutive year that Warrington-based Watkins has been shortlisted in the Engineering Employers’ Federation Photography Awards which were set up to showcase the industry’s creativity, diversity and heritage through inspiring photography.
Watkins is no stranger to the awards, having claimed Best Photograph by an Amateur Photographer in 2012 and the top prize in the Amateur Mobile category at last year’s event.
This year, six of Rob’s images taken at the factory have been shortlisted in the Amateur Photographer category.
“To have six of my photographs recognised alongside such a high calibre of entries is a real compliment. It would be a huge personal achievement to win the award for the third year in a row,” said Watkins.
Neil Burns, director of Croft Filters, added: “The images do a superb job of capturing the detail and hard work that goes into our products,”
The winners will be announced in December, and share £5,000 worth of photography equipment.
