Water Planet releases PolyCera® membrane filtration technology

Founded on Nobel Prize winning chemistry that was further developed at UCLA and then by Water Planet, PolyCera combines ceramic-like performance with polymer economics.

PolyCera is currently available as flat sheets or in Water Planet's proprietary spiral monolith elements and its membranes extend the range of polymeric membrane filtration to the most challenging applications. PolyCera membranes offer a ceramic-like combination of high hydrophilicity, permeability and strength.

Water Planet's spiral monolith elements increase PolyCera's benefits in a ceramic-like cross-flow, back-washable filtration module. Water Planet's testing to date shows OpEx savings of up to 40% compared with commodity polymer membranes and 80% compared with other ceramic membranes.
