A documentary entitled Brave Blue World, which highlights how new technologies are helping to re-think how water is managed, will be available on Netflix from 21 October 2020 to an audience of 193 million subscribers in 29 languages.

The documentary, which is narrated by Liam Neeson and features actors and activists Matt Damon and Jaden Smith, aims to drive positive change and raise awareness of the global water crisis.

Filmed across five continents, Brave Blue World meets those addressing global water and sanitation challenges.

Executive producer and founder of Brave Blue World Foundation, Paul O’Callaghan, said that raising awareness of the global water crisis to help fast-track potential solutions was their ambition when the project began. He added that, thanks to the support of the global water community, including those who hosted grassroots screenings, it is able to give water the profile it deserves.

Brave Blue World was produced by the Brave Blue World Foundation, with its production partners The Water Environment Federation (WEF), SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions, DuPont Water Solutions, Xylem, L’Oreal, Aqualia and the Dutch Water Alliance.
