The CHP plant will use GE pressurized hollow-fibre ultrafiltration membranes, electrodeionization and a customized reverse osmosis system to reduce chemical consumption by approximately 99% compared with conventional ion exchange technology.
The facility is expected to begin commercial operation in October 2014.
Toyo Thai Co Ltd is the engineering, procurement and construction contractor on the project.
