SagiCofim manufactures high-efficiency HEPA and ULPA air filters at its production facility in Cernusco sul Naviglio, Milan for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, marine and energy sectors. The company also owns 50% of Effebi Srl, which manufactures air distribution products in Sondrio in Italy’s Valtellina Valley.

The companies had 2021 consolidated sales of approximately €36 million and employ around 200 people. The Italian market accounts for about 75% of the companies’ sales, with the rest exported mainly within Europe.

"SagiCofim's production of air filters expands Systemair's product offering,” says Systemair’s president and CEO Roland Kasper. “Our air handling units for hospital environments and Sagicofim's filter solutions for operating theatres complement each other. The products for air distribution strengthen Systemair in the product area and we see significant synergies.”

The transaction requires approval from the Italian authorities.
