Schenck Process to sell its Food and Performance Materials business to Hillenbrand

The Schenck Process Group has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Food and Performance Material (FPM) business to the industrial company Hillenbrand Inc.

The FPM business specializes in the design, manufacturing and service of solutions incorporating technologies such as material handling, feeding, depositing, baking, milling, calcining and filtration. Headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, the FPM business has operations in the US, the UK, Thailand and Brazil and around 1,300 employees. The business had 2022 revenues of more than US$500 million and sells to customers in over 150 countries.

When the deal closes, the FPM business will be integrated into Hillenbrand’s Advanced Processing Solutions business segment.

Schenck Process will continue to provide process solutions for mission critical applications with a focus on the EMEA and Asian markets.
