The MAYANWATER Expo will be held from 23 – 25 November and will reflect the economic growth in Myanmar and the exponential growth in domestic, municipal and industrial requirements for water supply and treatment. The Expo will be held at the MEP Exhibition Hall in Mindama, Yangon and is a comprehensive platform to showcase businesses within the Myanmar market.
The Asian Development Bank has reported an 8.4% growth in Myanmar's gross domestic product in 2016, with 2017 figures projected to be 8.3%. With new political leadership under Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's political party, and a population of more than 52 million, there is economic potential for the country. MYANWATER 2017 is expected to play host to over 260 exhibiting companies and more than 6,000 trade visitors from all over the country.
