Kim Nøhr Skibsted has been appointed as the new executive director of the Poul Due Jensen Foundation, the major owner and shareholder of the Grundfos Group.

Nøhr Skibsted, 53, has been the Grundfos Group’s vice president and head of Communication, Public Affairs and Engagement for the past 10 years.

“With Kim Nøhr Skibsted as new executive director, we get a competent and experienced profile, who knows both the Foundation and Grundfos very well,” said Estrid Due Hesselholt, chairman of the Poul Due Jensen Foundation. “He is a committed and engaged professional, who has strengthened Grundfos’ image for the past ten years and maintained the respect for our values and spirits internally. We are confident that he will continue to develop the Foundation’s work to ensure a healthy and strong Grundfos and manage our important donations and partnerships.”

“The Poul Due Jensen Foundation’s goal will always be – and has always been – to strengthen and develop its role as both an active and responsible owner of Grundfos, and as a proactive commercial foundation with charitable interest and support within research and innovation, social responsibility and sustainable access to safe drinking water in developing countries," said Nøhr Skibsted. "I strongly support these values and purposes and I look forward to cooperate with the board, the employees and the Grundfos Group.”

Nøhr Skibsted replaces Christian Hartvig, who has resigned by mutual agreement.
